[ So far this week was shaping up to be a miserable one. While Rin was used to solitude and keeping to herself, what she was unprepared for was the inability to understand everyone around her. Even when she spoke out loud or to her pegapony Eris, nothing she says out loud sounds remotely like a word. Once she's dried up her tears from another crying fit (poor Waver Velvet) and storming off, she pulls out her pocket watch to try to see if anyone else can speak with her. ]

‹Stupid, stupid, stupid.› [ Well, once she's done complaining out loud in Japanese. ]

‹What kind of teacher is incapable of understanding their student? I just want to kick him in his stupid head over and over again, stupid, stupid, stupid...›

[ Rin is at STAGE 5 and will be quite miserable for the rest of the week due to an ache in her arm while this is going on. While she can speak English and bits of German as well, she can't understand a single thing said to her which is adding to her frustration. Have fun with the temperamental nine year old. ]

I rather thought you could hear as well, but judging by your reaction I was mistaken.

[kirei, you're supposed to be the adult here.]

[ No one can be adult when facing off against Rin Tohsaka. It's just an unfortunate side effect of things. ]

[ It might have been something he picked up after he became her legal guardian. ]

I'm afraid Tokiomi taught me no such thing yet. Do you know what it's made with? If you can tell me that much, we may be able to figure it out.

[ Amusingly enough once they're together, she'll settle down. Right now, she's just in a lot of pain and miserable, feeling a bit hurt that the people she's with aren't able to help her. Cranky children are the pits, but her pride keeps her from being too difficult in person. ]
